| it's almost three in the morning. my away message is up because i
really don't feel like talking to anyone. so i'll decide to write on
this. a little "online journal", if you will. i was browsing through my
mom's yearbook from 1969. it was her senior year. her and my dad went
to highschool together and were dating at that time. so as i'm looking
through the pages, i notice that every picture my dad is in he puts
either "i love you" or "i'm moonstruck over you" (whoa, lame..but
that's A.T. for you.) or some other sweet thing directing towards her.
can i just say that it was precious. here i was reading love notes from
my dad to my mom when they were my age. so i turn to the very end where
everyone signs it and his was about two pages long. the last part stuck
with me..it said:
"p.s. i just couldn't end with out telling you that if my wife is as
pure morally, spiritually, physically, mentally, and whatever other way
this is as you are, i will be very well and completely satisfied."
now (33 years later) they are married with six children + 2 grandkids.
and i see their love for each other now, just like it was back then.
and that, my friend, is a relationship that i long for and hope to have.
